Qwerty Labs / Chloe Territory Development Deck
01 / 07
Use after the first working deck

Now make
evidence.

Your job is to push a few good territories hard enough to discover which one can actually become Qwerty Labs.

3 territories
10+ experiments each
tiny-size test
kill weak ideas
bring back evidence
01
Step 1

Pick 3 territories

Choose the most promising, strange or fertile ideas. They do not have to be our favourites.

Step 2

Collect real references

Find the actual source phenomenon, not logos inspired by it.

Step 3

Make quickly

Follow the rule. Abuse it. See what happens. Ugly work is welcome.

How to use this deck

One worksheet per territory.

Use the next three cards for three different territories. Fill them in digitally or print them. Each sheet asks the same useful questions, so the comparison later is fair.

02
Remember
  • Don't spend ages polishing.
  • Don't drift into generic tech shapes.
  • Don't judge too early.
  • Don't keep an idea alive out of politeness.
Bring back
  • source references
  • 3 verbs for each territory
  • 10–20 tiny experiments
  • one very small test
  • one larger / louder application
  • what worked, what failed, what surprised you

Decision card

Choose what to develop next.

The winner does not need to be the prettiest. It needs to be the one most capable of becoming a recognisable QL identity.

07
Winning territory
Why this one?
One or two clear sentences.
Next experiments
What should you make next? Think mark, wordmark, motion, signage, tiny-size test, system behaviour.
Green flags
simple enough to remember
strange enough to own
feels right for children, teens, adults and organisations
not dependent on trend effects
works small and large
can expand into a system
Red flags
feels like a startup
needs a long explanation
looks good only with styling tricks
too tied to one part of QL
looks familiar / category-ish
works as a moodboard, not a mark
